Fuchsite w/ Quartz, Pasto Bueno Mine, Peru MM#24

Fuchsite with Quartz, Pasto Bueno Mine, Peru MM#24, 64mm x 47mm x 33mm, 117.4 grams, Price: $45.00

A thick matrix of what appears to be quartzite, carries a deposit of beautiful, mint green fuchsite, along with a rim of nice quartz points.

Here is a specimen of fuchsite in association with quartz. These specimens were mined from the Pasto Bueno Mine, located in the Pasto Bueno Mining District, Pallasco Province, Ancash Department, Peru. I have heard that this material is from a new, small find at Pasto Bueno. If this is true, you’ll want to get your specimen before the find is mined out.

Fuchsite, also known as chrome mica, is a chromium rich variety of the mineral muscovite. Fuchsite is named after the German mineralogist Johann Nepomak von Fuchs.

Metaphysically, fuchsite amplifies the energies of other crystals and aids in the transfer of that energy. It releases blockages caused by excess energy. Fuchsite balances the red and white blood cell ratio, treats strain and carpal tunnel syndrome.
