Epidote Crystal Cluster, Morgan III Mine, Peru, MM#25

Epidote Crystal Cluster, Morgan III Mine, Peru MM#25, 62mm x 60mm x 32mm, 160 grams, Price: $45.00

What I call the upper side of this piece shows as very three-dimensional. The lowest level is composed of olive green, translucent crystals and a bit of brown mud. Next up are several larger tabular crystals, embedded in a spectacular green crystal cluster. Turn the piece over and see chisel point terminations on tabular crystals ranging from transparent, light green to nearly black. With a 10x loupe this piece offers nearly endless entertainment!

Epidote is a common rock-forming mineral of secondary origin. It occurs in marble and schist of metamorphic origin. Epidote is also a product of hydrothermal alteration of various minerals. Well-developed crystals are found in many localities. This specimen was taken from the MorganIII Mine, Located in Canete Province, Lima Department, Peru.

Metaphysically, epidote increases spiritual attunement and removes resistance to spiritual awakening. Epidote clears negative emotional states and purifies the emotional body. In healing, use epidote for the nervous and immune systems. It supports the brain, thyroid, liver, gallbladder and adrenal glands.
