With this piece, we see black, massive material with quite a few very well-formed crystals. There is also a batch of lighter green, foam-like material.

Epidote is a common rock-forming mineral of secondary origin. It occurs in marble and schist of metamorphic origin. Epidote is also a product of hydrothermal alteration of various minerals. Well-developed crystals are found in many localities. This specimen was taken from the Angelina III Mine, Located in Pisco Province, Ica Department, Peru.

Metaphysically, epidote increases spiritual attunement and removes resistance to spiritual awakening. Epidote clears negative emotional states and purifies the emotional body.
